David Gabb

David Haydon Gabb is one of the best qualified and most experienced performance tennis coaches working in the UK. David has a history over the last 40 years of working with players that have achieved ATP, WTA, ITF, and National rankings. No less than 45 of David’s students have gone on to have full time careers in tennis.

David is a Level 5 LTA Master Performance Coach; he is qualified to coach to International levels of play by the LTA. David also holds the top-level qualification with the RPT (Registro Profesional de Tenis) as a Tennis Director.

David is widely recognised as an expert on teaching tennis to children at performance levels. He has taught at this level with a great deal of success for over 35 years. David’s writings on junior tennis have been widely published.

David has worked successfully for three LTA County Associations (Middlesex, Sussex, and Surrey); as a Director of Tennis for the David Lloyd Group; as Head Pro to the Vanderbilt Tennis Centre; as Head Pro to the London Indoor Tennis Centre; and as Director of Tennis to the Wimbledon Indoor Tennis Centre.

David has been married for over 20 years. His daughter is currently studying law at the University of Denver after completing her bachelor’s degree on a full-ride tennis scholarship at a NCAA Division 1 University in the USA and a successful junior tennis career (ranked inside top 20 in the UK under 18).
